        The Islamic Republic of Pakistan came into existence as a result of the endless struggle of the Muslims of India. Its culture is enriched with Islamic values. This culture inspired by Islamic traditions is so dear to Pakistanis that they demanded for a separate country to practice their culture. Pakistani culture is a unique and pleasant blend of many features. The most important features of Pakistani culture are its Islamic values and traditions, rich languages and their literature, fairs and festivals, dress code and many others.

    The most important feature of Pakistani culture is the Islamic values and traditions. The majority of Pakistan is are Muslims. They believe in the five pillars of Islam, that is, belief in one God, belief that Holy Prophet (S.A.W) is the last of the prophets and belief in Roza, Namaz, Zakat and Hajj. Muslims in Pakistan seem to be performing all the religious obligations earnestly. The belief in brotherhood enables the rich to help the poor. Pakistanis are always ready to sacrifice their lives for the dignity of the Holy Prophet. The melodious sound of Azaan keeps the Muslim jubilant and agile. Shortly, the Pakistani culture is a part and parcel of Islamic culture and tradition.

        Another significant feature of Pakistani culture is its regional languages and their rich literatures. These languages include Sindhi, Balochi, Punjabi, Pashto, Hindko, Saraiki and others. All of these regional languages along with the national language, Urdu, are endowed with rich literature with inspirational writers and poets. These talented writers represent their respective regional behaviour and attitude. Thus, they form an important part of Pakistani culture.

        Pakistani take pride in their unique and outstanding customs of fairs and festivals taking place at different regions of the country at different periods of the year. The most celebrated occasions are Eid ul Fitr, Eid ul Adha and Eid Ul Milad ul Nabi. There are many other regional festivals as well which are passionately celebrated. 

        The most decent feature of Pakistani culture is its dress. Although there are different dresses worn in regional areas but Dupatta is the most common feature for the women dress. Shalwar kameez is common both for men and women. The people of Pakistan follow their National and regional dress codes enthsiastically and are proud of it.
         To put all in a nutshell, Pakistani culture is the most amazing and interesting culture in the world. It is rich and varied and the people all around the globe are attracted towards its beauty. It is the duty of all Pakistanis to preserve their culture and keep it alive.
