Building a Prosperous Pakistan: A Collective Responsibility

Pakistan is a country got after a long and hard struggle. It has been achieved after giving many sacrifices. It is a homeland to 250 million people. It is not created for a single individual. Its progress and prosperity will benefit 250 million people and its downfall can shatter millions of families. It is, therefore, the foremost responsibility of every Pakistani to love it and to help it achieve its goals. This can be achieved by making our country a priority, by working honestly and by fulfilling our responsibilities towards our country and by creating a positive image of Pakistan.

Our first and the most important duty, as citizens of Pakistan, is to put our country first. Our country should be a priority for us and its interest should be above our personal interests. If we fail to recognize this responsibility, we will harm our country by our own selves which is devastating to every Pakistani.

Secondly, our country's love demands us to be honest in our duties and fulfill our responsibilities towards our country. We should be very careful not to be involved in any kind of corruption regarding our duties. Corruption is such an evil that can destroy our country's foundations. It can create great chaos in the establishment of a country and the whole system suffer by corruption.

Along with avoiding corruption, we should also be fully aware of our responsibilities towards our country and society. This awareness must be coupled with diligent attitude. Thus working hard and honestly is what our country demands of us failing which we will be harming our selves.

Finally, it is our duty to create a positive image of Pakistan in the world which will definitely help in the development of our country. The more we engage in positive activities and work honestly, the more Pakistan's image will be improved in the world community. Pakistan's better image will make it a suitable place for investments world wide. As a result, our country will move on the path of progress and development.

In short, we all need to understand that none of us working alone can achieve success. We have to think and act collectively for our country. The love of our country demands us to be honest and hard working and make our country a priority which will make it a prosperous country and improve its image. We need to understand that it is "our Pakistan" and not "my Pakistan", so that one day it will rise high in the world in terms of both civilization and economic development.
