The Quaid on many separate occasions emphasized the importance of education. In one of his address he told the youth, "Without education it is complete darkness and with education it is light. His message is very clear. He wanted the youth to get insight through education which would then help them to make the right decisions. He told the youth, "Education is a matter of life and death for our nation". On another occasion, he advised the students to give all their attention to their studies," You must concentrate on gaining knowledge and education. It is your foremost responsibility".

Quaid-i-Azam was a very diligent man and gave great importance to hard work. He emphasized the significance of hard work for the youth in these words," I insist you to strive. Work, work and only work". He was well aware that the potential energy of the youth could be of great value for Pakistan if utilized positively.

Unity and discipline were of great value for Quaid-i-Azam. He stressed upon the importance of discipline in these words, "Develop a sound sense of discipline, character and a sound academic background". About the students, once, he said, "They must fully equip them selves by discipline". Thus, he believed that the youth of Pakistan could serve their nation by developing a sound sense of discipline.

According to Quaid-i-Azam young people must be aware of the political events of the country. Although they should not take part in active politics during their studies but they should keep an eye on the political activities in the country. He said to the students, "Political awareness of the era is also part of your education".

It is obvious that the edicts of Quaid-i-Azam for youth are comprehensive and worthy of action.
